EU-MINDS Research Report is now available

The report brings together perspectives from unemployed adults, employment advisors, and mental health professionals, revealing the effects of prolonged unemployment on mental well-being. The research results show that symptoms such as anxiety, sleep disturbances, low mood, hopelessness, and social isolation are common between unemployed people across all the countries participating in the project. For instance, Greece showed the highest levels of distress, while Hungary reported lower – but still significant – psychological strain.
